Long Island’s newest microbrewery. Crooked Ladder Brewing Company opened its doors at 70 West Main Street and joined the revivial of Historic Downtown Riverhead. The microbrewery’s beautiful brick facade sports open-bay doors allowing the sweet aroma of brewing to invite passerbys inside for a taste. The sophisticated tasting room and hi-end production facility occupy the same space, allowing visitors to witness the brewing process while tasting. Head Brewer Duffy Griffiths and President, David Wirth have set out to create more than a tasting, but a craft beer experience. Come taste all CLB’s fresh, hand-crafted ales and a keep the glass.

About Crooked Ladder Brewing Company

The Crooked Ladder Brewing Company is a joint venture between good friends with diverse backgrounds and experience. David Wirth, President, is a private east end contractor, who designed and built the microbrewery and tasting room. Duffy Griffiths, Head Brewer is also the owner of Duffy’s Delis and former Fire Department Chief of Jamesport.

He is no stranger to business, creativity or ladders. David named, designed and built Crooked Ladder Brewing Company with his own hands. His passion for sophisticated design and décor is evident.

Duffy Griffiths spends a lot of time on ladders. He’s Crooked Ladder Brewing’s Head Brewer, Jamesport’s Fire Chief and owner of Duffy’s delis. Griffiths was Head Brewer for John Harvard’s Brewery 2 decades before craft beer was trending. Now Duffy is back and brewing with vengeance, so lookout for a new line of fresh, handcrafted brews.
